New house

We are finally in our new house! Most everything was moved this weekend, but I hope to be done at the end of next week. ME slept really well in her new room ( we have been talking about it A LOT!). Mike made breakfast this morning and we all sat at the kitchen table and ate breakfast. Pics to follow soon!

First Dentist visit

ME had her first trip to the dentist this past Wednesday. She only has 3 lower front teeth where there should be 4. It hasn't been a concern yet, but she started to complain that her mouth hurt so I was afraid that there was another tooth trying to get through. The dentist was great. Pixar and Disney designs were everywhere as well as playing on multiple TVs. ME was a good girl and had Xrays taken and let the dentist count her teeth. Everything is okay in her mouth and we are going back for our first cleaning on July 21st. I hope the visit goes as well! I took ME for a special surprise after the dentist. Her first visit to Build A Bear was fun and resulted in "Ducky" being the most recent animal friend!

New bed

ME climbed out of the crib during naptime this past Saturday. We took the crib rail off and I headed to Walmart for a bed rail. So far the transition has gone well. Nighttime is easier than naptime. She knows that she needs to stay in her bed and that I am proud of her when she stays in her bed, but it is so hard to be good! I guess this begins a new stage in our lives.

Spring Break

We had a busy but fun Spring Break. The week started with our first visit to Chuck E Cheese. We helped ME's friend Zoe celebrate her 2nd birthday. All in all the visit went well. ME wanted to run on stage and hug the big mouse character and she enjoyed the little slide and riding toys. She would have nothing to do with the pizza (can't be my kid!) and had her first taste of Sprite. On Moday we did our grocery shopping and the vet came to do horse innoculations in the afternoon. Tuesday Scottie came to help me shop for the new house and Ms. Vonda (church nursery worker) came to babysit ME. Wednesday Peggy, Nancy and Jessica came to see the new house, then we all headed to Chick-fil-a for lunch. ME had so much fun paling around with Jess. ME wants to be big! Thursday I took ME to the doctor because her cough had gotten so bad, but of course there was nothing to diagnose so we continued with over the counter medicine. Friday we went on our first zoo trip! LuLu and I loaded up the girl and headed to out. ME had a great time. I will take the Radio Flyer wagon on the next trip! ME walked or I carried her for 3 hours! I think we will make many zoo trips this summer. The house continues to inch toward completion. The cabinets are in and the walls have paint on them. It is looking good, but we are probably still 4-5 weeks away from moving in.
